Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Robot Voice Bridge and this website.

Robot Voice Bridge ("the app", "the Service") is software published by Silver Shadow Sound LLC, an Oregon limited liability company ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What the app does

Robot Voice Bridge is a native macOS application that lets you write directed voice scripts, generate audio through ElevenLabs, and deliver that audio into digital audio workstations and video editors such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Nuendo, Reaper, Premiere Pro, and Final Cut Pro. It is a workflow tool that connects to services you already use.

2. ElevenLabs account required

The app does not generate audio on its own. It works with your own ElevenLabs account. You are responsible for maintaining an active ElevenLabs subscription, and all voice generation is performed through, and billed by, ElevenLabs under your agreement with them. Your use of ElevenLabs is governed by ElevenLabs' own terms and prohibited-use policies. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ElevenLabs.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the app.

4. License

Subject to these terms and an active subscription or trial, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app for your own professional or personal use. A license belongs to one person and is active on one Mac at a time. You may install the app on any Macs you own or control and move your license between them whenever you like; activating on a new Mac signs the previous one out. Each member of a team needs their own license. You may not:

• share a license between multiple people;
• copy, redistribute, sublicense, sell, or rent the app;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
• remove or alter any proprietary notices;
• use the app to build a competing product.

5. Subscriptions, trial, and billing

Robot Voice Bridge is offered on a subscription basis at $12 per month. New users receive a 14-day free trial that does not require a credit card to begin. A payment method is collected only if you choose to continue after the trial. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; see our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund details.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller FastSpring. FastSpring is the Merchant of Record for all orders. FastSpring handles payment, billing, and related customer service inquiries, and its terms and privacy policy apply to the purchase transaction.

6. Acceptable use

You are solely responsible for the content you create with the app. You agree not to use Robot Voice Bridge to:

• violate any applicable law or regulation;
• create content that is deceptive, fraudulent, or intended to mislead;
• clone, imitate, or impersonate any person's voice without that person's clear permission, or otherwise infringe anyone's voice, likeness, publicity, or privacy rights;
• infringe intellectual property rights of others;
• create harassing, defamatory, hateful, or harmful content.

You must also comply with ElevenLabs' usage policies, which apply to all audio generated through your account.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the scripts you write and the projects you create. Rights in the audio you generate are subject to your agreement with ElevenLabs. We do not claim ownership of your projects or generated audio.

8. Intellectual property

The app, its design, and all related materials are owned by Silver Shadow Sound LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Nuendo, Reaper, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, macOS, ElevenLabs, and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by those companies.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every system or third-party service, including future changes to ElevenLabs or to your DAW or editor.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Silver Shadow Sound LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. On termination, the license granted to you ends.

12. Changes

We may update the app and these terms from time to time. Material changes to these terms will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Oregon.
